# InApp Redirect

## What InApp Redirect does

Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other mobile apps may open external links inside an embedded browser. Depending on the device and platform, this can add login or checkout friction, interrupt existing browser sessions, and complicate campaign attribution.

InApp Redirect provides five related tools:

- **Domain Setup** applies native-browser routing across a website the customer controls.
- **SmartLink** creates browser-aware campaign links for selected or third-party destinations.
- **Deep Link** routes supported destinations into installed mobile apps.
- **App Opener** creates and tests app-opening links with a web fallback.
- **Free Link in Bio** collects multiple destinations on one mobile-friendly profile page.

Routing behavior depends on the source app, operating system, installed apps, destination support, and user settings. No link can override operating-system security or guarantee that an app opens.
